To apply for residency training at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, you must meet one of the following qualifications:

• Graduate of a U.S. or Canadian Medical School: You are a graduate of a medical school in the United States or Canada that has been accredited by the 医学教育联络委员会 (LCME) 或 美国骨科协会 (AOA)。
• Graduate of an International Medical School: You are a graduate of an international medical school and meet one of the following qualifications:
  • A currently valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate
  • 在美国许可管辖区行医的完整且不受限制的许可
  • Completion of a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school

We only accept applications through the 电子居留申请服务 (ERAS). 不能接受在 ERAS 之外提交的任何信息。

• ERAS应用

• Three to four letters of recommendation
• Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE, or Dean's letter)

For best consideration, applicants are strongly encouraged to complete either USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 for allopathic applicants, or COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2 for osteopathic applicants, such that scores are available for review with their application. Residents accepted into the program MUST have completed both United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 and 2 (allopathic graduates) or COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2 (osteopathic graduates) prior to beginning their training.
